Steph is a self-shooting director and editor based in London, whose curiosity about the world led her to making films. Working across the charity and commercial sectors, she’s made films for clients such as the Barbican, Little Dot Studios, Greenpeace, Shelter and The Smalls. Alongside this she has produced her own independent documentaries, which have screened internationally and won awards including the London Emerging Award at Cheap Cuts Doc Fest and Best International Short at Ethnocineca Film Festival.
She’s part of Postcode Films, a collective producing documentaries of all shapes and sizes.
Whether working collaboratively with a client or making a doc, the common thread that runs throughout her work is a desire to put those in front of the camera at ease and tell character-driven, socially conscious stories.
